In addition to providing general correspondence services, Digitype provides court and police transcripts, client statements and medico-legal reports.

“A lot of our clients are small to medium sized firms that are looking to reduce their overheads and costs,” Pavett explains.

“We’re cheaper than hiring an extra secretary, and our turnaround time is quicker than if you outsource work to India or the Philippines.”

This is certainly a major selling point when it comes to gaining clients. Brett Vincent, the director of Vincent CCL, first employed the services of Digitype three years ago.

“I’ve dramatically reduced my overheads and now operate a legal practice without the need [for] secretaries,” Vincent says. “This has been a dramatic step but one which has been highly beneficial financially to me. The electronic recording system is efficient, accurate and highly cost effective.”
